Who is the next manager if Chelsea sack Graham Potter?

Chelsea manager Graham Potter has found it really hard to settle down at Stamford Bridge

According to Fichajes.net, Graham Potter, the manager of Chelsea football club, has had a very difficult time adjusting to his new position at Stamford Bridge. Just a few months into his new job, there are already rᴜmors that he will be fired from his position.

The former Brighton manager was hired by Chelsea in September, but since then, the club has been on a steady decline under his direction. Brighton was his previous job. To this point, he has been in charge of 29 games in all competitions, but the London side has only managed to win 14 of those matches.

Despite making a large number of acquisitions throughout the month of January, Chelsea has only managed to win one of their most recent five league games. This has caused them to fall to ninth place in the Premier League rankings.
The pressure on Potter to find a replacement is increasing, and the most recent information suggests that Chelsea are keeping an eye on Luis Enrique,
who was formerly the manager of Barcelona. Since the 2022 World Cup, Enrique has been unemployed, and the last club job he held was in 2017 when he was the manager of Barcelona. Prior to that, he was the manager of Spain’s national team. In spite of this, the Spaniard is still considered to be one of the best managers in Europe; hence, if Potter is unable to step up his game, Luis Enrique might be the next manager of Chelsea.

The last thing that Todd Boehly will want is an incompetent manager at the helm of the team because he has spent a significant amount of money bringing in new acquisitions at the club.

A team like Chelsea rҽally must compete in the Champions League, but given their current trajectory, it appears as though winning the UCL is a very unlikely possibility for them. At the moment, they are ten points behind the fourth slot, which means that on paper, they still have a chance; however, we have our doubts that Potter will be given a lot of playing time.

Graham Potter faces the possibility of losing his job as manager of Chelsea if the club is unable to advance further in the Champions League than Borussia Dortmund. The new owner of the club will be looking for results as soon as possible, so there is a good chance that Graham Potter will be let go as soon as the competition concludes.

Luis Enrique’s name has been mentioned in connection with Atletico Madrid in recent weeks; but, if Chelsea make an offer first, we don’t see any reason why the 52-year-old won’t accept the job instead of Atletico Madrid.
