Chelsea are close to finalising the signing of 18-year-old Benfica winger Diego Moreira, 90min understands. Moreira, who plays his football with Benfica’s B team but has managed two appearances for the senior side, is approaching the end of his contract in Portugal and a number of clubs have expressed an interest in the teenager.

Pochettino close to becoming Chelsea manager

According to Fabrizio Romano, Mauricio Pochettino, now closer than ever to get Chelsea manager job after new crucial round of positive talks tonight. Negotiations entering final stages — still waiting for formal contract to be sent, checked and signed. Frank Lampard will continue as the interim manager for the rest of the season as Mauricio Pochettino will take over the reins at Chelsea in June.

Chelsea have spent £600m on players and need a manager that can properly mine that investment. It is why Mauricio Pochettino is the frontrunner for the vacancy.

Aubameyang is Barcelona’s top target

Barcelona have made former striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a top target ahead of the summer window, according to Sky Sports. The Catalans want some competition for Robert Lewandowski and are keen to see the forward leave Chelsea and return to the Camp Nou. Roberto Firmino, who will be a free agent this summer, is also an option for Barcelona as well as Brazilian starlet Vitor Roque.
