Romano confirms, Ten Hag urges Man Utd to ‘make historic contract’ with ‘Ozil 2.0’

According to transfer source Dean Jones, a possible move by Manchester United to recruit Ajax and Ghana attacker Mohammed Kudus for Erik ten Hag’s squad at Old Trafford “meets a lot of the boxes.” Kudus is currently playing for Erik ten Hag’s team at Old Trafford.

Following the heated conversation that Cristiano Ronaldo had with Piers Morgan in November, the Red Devils are trying to strengthen their attacking alternatives in the wake of the fact that they were forced to terminate Ronaldo’s contract.

After ten Hag officially declared his want to bring in another forward option to the club this month, 90min reports that Manchester United are presently exploring a deal to sign Kudus. This comes after ten Hag made his desire to bring in another forward option to the club public.

Although the Red Devils have already completed the loan acquisition of Burnley striker Wout Weghorst for the duration of the season, they may look to the Ghanaian as a potential replacement for the Dutchman in the starting lineup.

According to The Independent, Everton’s previous offer of £15 million for the Ajax phenom on the final day of the summer transfer window in 2022 was rejected. At the time, the club was the defending champion of the Eredivisie, and they were certain that they would not let him leave.

The Athletic now reports that the attacker is eager to leave the Amsterdam side, but he will not be sold for a sum that is less than £35 million this month. Despite this, the forward will not be sold this month for a fee that is less than £35 million.

A transfer expert named Fabrizio Romano recently stated to GiveMeSport that the Premier League club will need to make a “crazy bid” in order to convince Ajax to sell Kudus during the winter transfer window. However, Jones believes that Kudus is a player who would fulfill a lot of ten Hag’s requirements at Old Trafford.

Jones provided the following response to GiveMeSport when asked about the connections between Man United and Kudus: “The Kudus links keep coming back. In addition, it is the kind of player that ten Hag has been searching for up to this point, so it checks off a lot of the boxes that are going to be checked off along the way.

Kudus would appear to be the ideal signing for Manchester United at Old Trafford given that he has previously worked with ten Hag during the latter’s time as an assistant coach at Ajax. The Red Devils are in desperate need of attacking additions.
