It’s level at half-time in a blockbuster clash to get the Champions League last-16 up and running as PSG host Bayern Munich in the first leg of the tie tonight. Bayern have been by far the better side at the Parc des Princes, but they have nothing to show for it.
Their hopes of a first Champions League title this season rest largely on Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi, though only one is fit to start tonight. Messi returns to the PSG side to partner Neymar, but Mbappe has to settle for a place on the bench as he recovers from a hamstring injury.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side have not been firing on all cylinders themselves this season – they are only one point clear at the top of the Bundesliga.
