The linchpin has enjoyed an outstanding season at Manchester United and it seems unthinkable that he will make a summer exit.

Casemiro has been as effective going forward as has been defensively, scoring five times and assisting six more in 44 outings. The Brazilian is contracted at Old Trafford until 2026 and has the option of a year’s extension.

Tentative reports of a summer move away have been few and far between given his recent arrival. Some have briefly floated the suggestion that Bayern Munich could look to steal him from Ten Hag.

However, Saha believes there is little substance in speculation about an exit transfer and mooted that Casemiro is more interested in the challenge at United than joining in Bayern’s dominance in Germany.

Speaking to Betfred, Saha said: “When it comes towards the end of the season, speculation like this is usually driven by the player’s agent. Casemiro is a top player and there’s always going to be speculation regarding his future because of how good he is.

“I’m not worried about him leaving this summer and I don’t believe that Bayern Munich will provide a greater challenge for Casemiro than the challenge of taking Manchester United back to the top.

“His situation is great at Manchester United and he has a brilliant contract, so I’d be very surprised if he was to push for a move in the summer.”
