Manchester United take on Barcelona in the second leg of the Europa League playoff on Thursday night.
Although it was goalless at half-time at Camp Nou last week, Barcelona broke the deadlock with a header from Marcos Alonso immediately after the interval, but Marcus Rashford produced an outstanding, well-taken equaliser just moments later.
The game eventually finished in a 2-2 draw and Barcelona’s manager Xavi, speaking yesterday at his pre-match press conference at Old Trafford, said Erik ten Hag’s side had played with ‘personality, passion and intensity’ throughout that game.
Regarding the team news, Antony and Harry Maguire returned to training on Wednesday and both are on the bench. However, Anthony Martial is not available and he did not take part in full training at Carrington.
Barcelona will also be without midfielders Pedri and Gavi at Old Trafford as the former is injured and the latter suspended.
