The latest transfer rumours from Old Trafford amid speculation over Croatia defender Josko Gvardiol.
Manchester United are planning to swoop for Croatia defender Josko Gvardiol – according to reports.
Gvardiol, 21, earned rave reviews for his performances at the World Cup this winter and the centre-back has also caught the eye during his time with RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga. He’s understood to have elite European clubs such as United and Real Madrid monitoring his situation in Germany.
Reports from Italian publication Calciomercatohighlight the defender as a potential replacement for Sweden captain Victor Lindelof should he depart Old Trafford next summer. Gvardiol is thought to be valued at around £89million by Leipzig and that could be a stumbling block when it comes to business.
