Manchester United could become one of the big players in the race for Jude Bellingham if a takeover goes through before the summer, according to reports.
Bellingham, who is still just 19-years-old, looks set to become one of the most in-demand players in the world, should he decide to leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season as is widely expected. The teenager’s form for club and country has attracted interest form across the continent, with long-time admirers Liverpool and Real Madrid set to face competition from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City.
And now The Athletic report that United could reignite their interest in the England international, should a successful takeover of the club generate funds for a big-spending summer. United have received two formal bids from Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and INEOS owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
