Victor Osimhen’s agent has dealt Manchester United and Arsenal a major blow in their quest to sign him with the striker keen to stay at Napoli.
The Nigerian centre-forward has earned rave reviews since joining the Italian side from Lille in 2020.
His 14 Serie A goals last season helped secure Napoli a Champions League spot, and he has continued his fine form this term.
Osimhen has banged in three goals from six top-flight matches with Luciano Spalletti’s unbeaten side sitting pretty at the top of the table.
The 23-year-old previously admitted he was ‘flattered’ by interest in him from the Gunners.
And the Red Devils target declared in the summer that ‘anything can happen’ regarding his future amid rumours of a move to England.
But Osimhen’s representative Roberto Calenda has put an end to speculation over his client as he insisted the player is happy at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
He told Radio Kiss Kiss: “We haven’t found out now that Osimhen is the subject of interest from so many teams.
