Man Utd finally agreed to swap Sancho for La Liga’s ‘new Xavi’, OTF dyed England red?

Manchester United has offered £58 million for Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde in the summer transfer window.

Federico Valverde, a midfielder for Real Madrid, is reportedly available for purchase during the forthcoming summer transfer window, and Manchester United has reportedly made a £58 million offer for the rights to do so. In the summer of 2018, the Red Devils reinforced their midfield by signing Eriksen, Casemiro, and Marcel Sabitzer on loan for the remainder of the current season.

But Valverde, who apparently has the ability to elevate United to a new level during the 2019 season, is now the subject of Erik ten Hag’s alleged interest. Apparently, Manchester United has made a bid of £58 million for the Uruguayan international star, who has recently struggled with his form, according to the Spanish daily Nacional.

Valverde played a significant role in Real Madrid’s journey to the league title the previous season, showing up in 49 games across all competitions. He also directly contributed to the game-winning assist against Liverpool in the Champions League final.

His play has severely deteriorated since the World Cup, and in the eight games he’s participated in since the competition, he hasn’t assisted on or scored a single goal. He did, however, have a great start.

But if the speculations are to be believed, United and Ten Hag, who is well-known to be a big fan of the midfielder, have not been deterred, which is probably why the decision was made to make a bid for £58 million.

With 47 caps to his name, the Uruguayan international is able to press effectively, disrupt play, make quick runs into the box, and strike the ball hard with either foot. Additionally, he has 47 caps.

Valverde has made 180 appearances in all competitions since joining Real Madrid in 2018, during which he has scored 15 goals and provided 12 assists.
