Manchester United and Liverpool won’t be able to nab Moises Caicedo on the cheap in January as Brighton have supposedly named their price. The heavyweight Premier League duo are unlikely to be the only ones in contention to land the Ecuadorian after a superb start to the season.

United and Liverpool are considered ‘likely’ to join the other interested parties with the Seagulls set to turn a huge profit on the youngster, who was signed for just £4.5m and is expected to feature at this year’s World Cup.

The Red Devils signed Casemiro to bolster their midfield in the summer but they are believed to be in the market for another one with the potential to become a long-term member of the squad. Jude Bellingham and Frenkie de Jong have also been touted as options but landing either player would come with major difficulties.
