Kalidou Koulibaly, a Chelsea defender, has responded to Napoli’s Serie A title triumph.
The Senegalese stated congratulations to the club’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis.
The tale of success began a season after Koulibaly departed the club for Chelsea.
It was Napoli’s first league title in 33 years, which they won this week after a 1-1 draw against Udinese.
The Senegalese spent seven to eight seasons at Napoli, helping them win the Coppa Italia in 2020.
He joined Chelsea for £34 million last summer, and the Blues currently have no hope of competing in any European tournaments next season, sitting in 12th place in the Premier League table.
“I received this from Kalidou and will share with you: ‘Best wishes president for your work,” De Laurentiis posted on Twitter.
Should Kylian Mbappe leave PSG this summer ?
“This Scudetto had been predicted for a long time. And now it has arrived. I wish you many more titles.’ “Thank you for giving me the chance to play for this shirt and this city. Forza Napoli Sempre.’”
