Hero is leaving’: Man Utd is facing ‘heavy sadness’ with departure of ‘£40k-a-week’ star

According to гᴜmогs, Manchester United won’t permit a promising young player to leave for new surroundings in the summer.

According to transfer insider Dean Jones, Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho is “too important to the future” and will “absolutely not” be permitted to leave Old Trafford in the summer.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of the Red Devils, will have another chance to approve incomings and outgoings in the months to come after last month’s loan additions of Jack Butland, Wout Weghorst, and Marcel Sabitzer strengthened his squad.

According to the esteemed journalist, image rights and the length of the contract are still up for discussion, but the Red Devils are still confident the teen will sign on the dotted line.

With Garnacho’s £5,000 per week contract entering its final 18 months at the beginning of the year, Manchester United is eager to lock him down to new terms.

The Argentinean appears to be in line for a significant pay increase as his advisors are pushing for a deal worth more than £40,000 per week; however, the Red Devils have found it difficult to negotiate an eight-year contract due to interest from La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid.

According to Dharmesh Sheth, a Sky Sports reporter, Manchester United is eager to offer Garnacho a better contract that would keep him at Old Trafford for the foreseeable future.

I just see absolutely no way from here,” Jones told GiveMeSport, “that they let this player go.

“I believe he is too significant for the future and provides them with a difficult-to-find option.”

Does Garnacho merit a new deal?

Sofascore reports that after scoring in Sunday’s 2-0 victory over Leeds United, Garnacho successfully completed two dribbles, won the same number of ground duels, and earned a 7.1 match rating.

With four goal contributions after just 352 minutes of Premier League play this season, the 18-year-performance old’s demonstrated that he has a bright future ahead of him.

The Manchester Evening News reported that Red Devils legend and BT Sport pundit Paul Scholes called Garnacho “dangerous” during the derby victory over Manchester City last month.

The South American has “individual skills that can make the difference,” according to Ten Hag, who was also impressed.

Since breɑkι𝚗g into Manchester United’s first team, Garnacho has contributed five assists in addition to three goals, demonstrating that failing to sign him to a new contract would be a grave error.
