Bellingham is thought to be a player of interest to a host of Premier League clubs
Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director Sebastian Kehl has insisted that Jude Bellingham remains happy at the Bundesliga club amid interest from Manchester United and Manchester City.
MEN Sport reported in December that Erik ten Hag would be interested in making a bid for Bellingham in the future. United have previously tried to secure the signature of the talented England international but on that occasion, the teenager chose to move to Dortmund.
Ahead of their Champions League tie with Chelsea, Dortmund’s manager Edin Terzic claimed that talk about his player’s future would wait until the summer. Speaking to BT Sport, Kehl agreed with Terzic and insisted that Bellingham’s focus is on Dortmund’s season.
He said: “This is the big thing at the moment, of course. He still has a contract and he is very focused on football.
“He’s very focused on Borussia Dortmund and this team – we’re happy to have him.” Following Kehl’s comments, former United midfielder Owen Hargreaves explained why so many clubs in the Premier League are looking at Bellingham.
