Hellas Verona midfielder Ivan Ilic is on the radar of Premier League giants Arsenal.
The table topping Gunners are very familiar with Ilic, given he played at Manchester City while Mikel Artetawas their assistant manager.
The 21-year-old never played a first team game for City, but did make an impression on Arteta before the latter left for Arsenal in 2019.
Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport now states that Gunners scouts were watching both Ilic and Laziomidfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in September.
A move for Ilic is not expected to happen until the summer, but the defensive midfielder could even be brought in during the January transfer window.
Ilic was at the World Cup, coming off the bench for Serbia in one of their group stage games.
