Al-Nassr have confirmed the departure of their manager Rudi Garcia after reports of a rift between himself and Cristiano Ronaldo. Garcia left his role in charge of the Saudi Arabian club after their 0-0 draw against Al Feiha on Sunday.
Ronaldo was visibly angry with his teammates during and after the game, arguing with other players after the final whistle before storming down the tunnel. The 59-year-old manager was vocal with his own frustrations after the game, adding that he didn’t ‘feel satisfied with the players’ performance’.
A statement from the club on Thursday read: “Al-Nassr can announce that head coach Rudi Garcia has left the club by mutual agreement.
